This competition is for female-identifying or gender non-binary students in grades 3-12. Students must create their own original game with a clear objective on a browser based platform (e.g. Scratch, Game Lab, p5.js, etc.) and use the entry form below to provide:
- a working link to view the code & play the game
- written instructions on how to play the game
- write-up answering the (4) prompted questions
The game should allow the user to interact with the game, either through their keyboard or by clicking on the screen. We allow gifs, jpgs, pngs, images from any software image library (e.g. Sprites and backdrops from Scratch’s sprite library), and other graphic files.
Judges will score entries based on: Originality & Aesthetics, Game Play & User Experience, Code Complexity, Code Quality and Write-Up.Â
Before starting make sure you have these items ready to go:
- parent or teacher email (if under 18 years old)
- project URLÂ
